BERKELEY (Apr. 13, 2003) - Since JukeTrax 1.x got listed on CNet’s download.com on January 13 of this year, the application has been requested a grand total of 10,817 times, citing statistical meter counts from the CNet Upload panel. Today marks its 3-month anniversary since becoming a Music Management tool worldwide. JukeTrax 1.0 has gone thru six functional updates, in short three months, each time better and closer to embracing suggestions from all owners and users of jukeboxes around the globe.

According to the download requests, 2/3 of the traffic were served to the Continental US, followed by ZDNet UK/Europe and ZDNet Australia combined, taking up 86.7% of the remaining 1/3 of the requests, while the rest of the resources were shared between Latin speaking countries, Asia, and S. Africa.

In response to this growing demand, JUKE.biz shall “beef up” the number of simultaneous connections to the jukeDB server(s) to allocate resources 10-fold due to unforeseen bandwidth requirements. This scalability upgrade shall be completed by the end of April.
